So we got up early to go to the PCC flea market. I bought some John Miner silkscreens, got a great deal. We bumped into lots of people we knew. Gyorgi had a table with merchandise in Miner’s studio, Davis and Davis were there buying gardening supplies. Kyle from the American was there with Mary and he was amped up after a haggle war with a peddler over a clown painting. Hadn’t seen him in years and we make eye contact and he animatedly launches into a tirade about this dude and the bad painting. We saw the tacky artwork later, Kyle was totally in the right. I told Leigh about seeing Mike Kelley there looking at Kitschy stuff, moving through the aisles with a veteran efficiency, a wheeled cart for merchandise with him.
We wen to Target to get dog food and i saw they sold iPads so I bought Leigh her Christmas present. She is happy and was already into setting it up when we got home. We had gone by the Norton Simon to get some gifts at the bookstore. We were hungry and had a snack there. i am still learning about my camera, took shots in the gardens there.
We got home and walked the dogs just as it started to rain. What a mess. We got a lot more done getting up early. I am off to bed now because she set the alarm to 9:30.
