So i had to jury some art on the West Side today – Gallery 825 had artists submit centerpieces of tables for the ArtScene 25th Anniversary bash.
There has to be one artwork, pretty much a sculptural object, as the centerpiece for each of the 55 tables at the event. The organization was complex, thankfully all I did was show up and say “Yes/No” a buncha times.
I picked up the March Angeleno magazine at a newsstand and saw the half-page feature on ME there (Page 76). Jada Pinkett is on the cover.
I took the bus there and back, I hate traffic so much. I walked from Wilshire and LA Cienaga up to a half-block shy of Santa Monica Boulevard – that is a major workout for me.
